Parag Biswas is a Bangladeshi creative and visionary director. He is also an I-Genius from "Grameen Phone- Prothom Alo Internet Festival". 

He creates short films to make social awareness. He believes that Film has the ability to touch the hearts and minds of viewers and if used responsibly it can carry the message of awareness and change to a global audience. It can be a powerful tool to bring about effective social change. That's why he makes short films on eve teasing, sexual abuse, drug addiction, corruption, anti social behavior and such kind of social problems. 

His short film "The way of light" went on to win short film award in two categories.

Parag Biswas was born on 31 May 1994 in Bagerhat District. He is the eldest son of two brothers. He spent his childhood and college life in Mongla. He got "RSF Poribesh Uthshob Award" in 2009 from his region. He was also the winner of 'Grameen Phone - Prothom Alo Internet Festival' from Mongla in 2011. Later in 2012, He came to Dhaka for his study. He studied Diploma in Electrical Engineering from "Mawts Institute of Technology" and B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) from "Daffodil International University". 

Since he was a university student, Parag Biswas worked as a assistant director. After that he started to make short films on social problems. As a filmmaker he has made short films and documentary, some of which have received awards in many categories. He is the director of Workshop Multimedia Ltd. His feature short films are "Golpota Dusshopner", "The Way of Life", "Bela Seshe", "Sesh Fuler Abdar", "Bijoy" and "Manobota". 

He serves as a content creator and chief photographer in online portals and magazines. As an I-Genius he performed at I-Camps on several occasions. He is also working as an executive of supply chain management in a private company also.
